This course prepares Project Managers to learn skills in managing a project by using generally accepted best practices, based on the Project Management Institute (PMI)®’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) standards.
This course helps in creating structured approaches to Project Management, to ensure well-planned projects, where the scope is managed, and risks are assessed and mitigated. This course is aligned with the processes described in the Project Management Institute’s (PMI)® 'A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge' (PMBOK® Guide). At the conclusion of the course, participants will understand concepts of project life cycles, statements of work, work breakdown structures, project schedules, cost budgeting, and risk management plans.
By participating in this program you will have developed sufficient knowledge and skills to be able to independently plan, organize, and manage projects of various sizes.  You can immediately put to use the techniques and artifacts developed and / or provided in the class.
